Superbowl.....

is the game of the year. We normally watch it on the last Sunday of January.....and wonder why the NFL has yet to change the day of the game to Saturday. Its the reason why many people tend to call into work the next day, no matter if their team won or lost. Its the culminating event of football season.

This year we didn't just watch Superbowl but we were able to experience the Superbowl. For Drew it was like being a kid in the candy store and we simply couldn't get enough of the intense American tradition that we have grown to know as watching it on t.v. and making sure that we see the commercials.

This Superbowl was different. It was more interesting. It was more special. It had a meaning. It was Superbowl XLIII......it was not just an ordinary game......it hosted the Arizona Cardinals.....it was all about Edgerrin James. Finally it was his time- his time to shine......to show that he is not an old timer......that he is just as young as the rookie on the team......that this was his game.
Before we know it......we are given the opportunity to experience a once in a life time event. An event that most people throw a party for. An event that normal middle class citizens do not attend because ticket prices are too high. An event that can give someone the ultimate high and then make them hit rock bottom only two minutes later. Although the Cardinals lost, we still had a had a time of our life!
